Get In Touch →Common Questions
I coach a GBYSL recreational team. Can I bring my team to Reno Apex?
Yes. We provide the best coach education and support in Northern Nevada and welcome GBYSL recreational teams every season. Whether you're a reluctant volunteer coach or interested in coaching long term, we provide an environment that fosters growth and development.
We played GBYSL recreational last Fall but want to play competitive in the Spring. Can we join?
Yes, provided our directors agree the team is ready for competitive soccer.
I coach a competitive team at another club. Can I bring my team to Reno Apex?
Movement between clubs requires release from the prior club. Without that approval, coaches cannot be named head coach of a team in the same age group for one year — a US Club and league rule. Players registered with any team can attend our tryouts during the Open Tryout Window in May.
We're not ready to move our team full time, but can our players attend Sunday APEX Academy sessions?
Yes. We welcome GBYSL rec teams who want to attend our Academy training as a group, even if they aren't ready to join full time. Each player will need to register for APEX Training individually.
